Mermaid of Seaton
34 x 29cm Limited Edition Giclée Print of 95
An old Cornish folk tale tells the story of a mermaid who fell in love with a fisherman at Seaton, Cornwall. One day she was caught in the nets and in her fury she cursed the harbour to be buried forever under the shifting sands. That's why Seaton has just a beach these days....
The original artwork was created by sewing recycled fabrics onto a 1987 Admiralty sea chart.
