St Ives is a picturesque fishing harbour and seaside town in Cornwall. In years gone by it was commercially dependent on fishing but now the town is primarily a seaside resort. It is also renowned for it’s number of artists who have been drawn to the area for many years, partly due to the unique light conditions created by the beautiful yellow sands of it’s beaches. This is a painting of the harbour beach of St Ives at low tide with it’s characteristic boats lying haphazardly on the sand. It measures 60cm x 60cm and has been painted on a narrow canvas with painted sides so is ready to hang or can be framed. It comes with a certificate of authenticity.
